Giulio Tiozzo will deliver a PhD course in Holomorphic Dynamics starting the 11th January until the 23rd of February. 

 

Lectures  will be at the SNS with the following schedule

 

Wed.  11-13 ;  Aula Bianchi Scienze
Thurs. 11-12;  Aula Mancini

 

A very rough outline of the course below: 

 
1) A crash course on holomorphic dynamics of one variable. Fatou and Julia sets. 

2) Classification of Fatou components. 

3) External Rays and combinatorics of  Mandelbrot set. 

4) Entropy of quadratic polynomials and Hubbard's trees
