DESCRIPTION:The PhD Schools in Mathematics at the University of Pisa and t
 he Scuola Normale Superiore are organizing a meeting for master’s studen
 ts interested in applying for a PhD position in Pisa. The aim of this even
 t is to introduce prospective candidates to the vibrant research environme
 nts of both institutions.\nIn a lively and welcoming atmosphere\, particip
 ants will have the opportunity to attend presentations by potential superv
 isors and engage in discussions with them. The program includes:\n\nResear
 ch talks by professors and researchers from the Scuola Normale Superiore a
 nd the University of Pisa\, showcasing their areas of interest.\nInformal 
 meetings with current PhD students\, offering insights into their work and
  personal experiences in Pisa.\n\nThe list of speakers will be announced s
 oon.\nLimited financial support\, including partial or full reimbursement 
 of travel and/or accommodation expenses\, is available for selected partic
 ipants. A number of rooms have also been reserved at a university-owned re
 sidence and may be allocated to prospective participants.\nRegistration (a
 nd funding requests) will close on January 11\, 2026\, at 1 pm (CET). Plea
