Who can apply?

Master’s students in their final year, who plan to graduate by Fall 2025.

How to apply?

You can submit your application in the Registration section. Before registering, please ensure you have prepared the following documents (Italian-speaking candidates may submit documents in Italian):

1. Cover Letter (in two parts):        
Part 1: A brief summary of your academic background (max 1500 characters, excluding spaces). Include details such as your bachelor’s thesis title, advisor, grade, scholarships, summer schools attended, awards, mathematical competitions, Erasmus participation, etc.        
Part 2: A description of your research interests (max 2500 characters, excluding spaces), including your master’s thesis topic and supervisor (if available), as well as your motivation for participating in the event and pursuing a PhD in mathematics at Pisa.

2. List of Exams from your Bachelor’s Degree, including grades. This document should be obtainable through your university’s e-services.

3. Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (if not included in the list of exams), showing your final grade. Your university should provide this document via e-services.

4. List of Exams from your Master’s Degree, including grades. This should also be available via your university’s e-services.

Registrations will close on November 22, 2024, at 1 pm (CET).
