Who can apply?
Master’s students in their final year, who plan to graduate by Fall 2026.
How to apply?
You can submit your application in the Registration section. Before registering, please ensure you have prepared the following documents (Italian-speaking candidates may submit documents in Italian):
1. Cover Letter (in two parts):
Part 1: A brief summary of your academic background (maximum 1,500 characters, excluding spaces). This may include your bachelor’s thesis title, advisor, final grade, scholarships, summer schools attended, awards, participation in mathematical competitions, Erasmus programs, etc.
Part 2: A description of your research interests (maximum 2,500 characters, excluding spaces). Please include your master’s thesis topic and supervisor (if available), as well as your motivation for participating in the event and for pursuing a PhD in Mathematics at Pisa.
2. List of Bachelor’s Degree Exams, including grades. This document should be obtainable through your university’s e-services.
3. Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (if not included in the list of exams), indicating your final grade. This should also be available through your university’s e-services.
4. List of Master’s Degree Exams, including grades. This document should likewise be obtainable through your university’s e-services.
All documents must be uploaded in PDF format.
When to apply?
Registrations will close on January 11, 2026, at 1 pm (CET).
