Description
The Gross-Zagier formula relates the Neron-Tate height of Heegner divisors to the first central derivative of the L-function of elliptic curves over the rationals. This talk will focus on presenting several generalizations of this formula to higher dimensional modular varieties (often parameterizing abelian varieties with decorations), including conjectures made by Gan-Gross-Prasad, Kudla-Rapoport, and Yifeng Liu, and some recent developments towards them.
