The PhD School in Mathematics at the University of Pisa is organizing a meeting for master's students interested in applying for a PhD position at the Department of Mathematics. The purpose of this meeting is to introduce prospective PhD candidates to the vibrant mathematical research environment at the Department of Mathematics.
In a lively and welcoming atmosphere, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to presentations from potential advisors and engage in discussions with them. The program includes:
- Talks by professors and researchers from the Department of Mathematics, highlighting their research interests.
- Informal meetings with current PhD students, offering insights into their work and personal experiences in Pisa.

Limited financial support, including partial or full reimbursement for travel and/or accommodation, is available for selected participants. We have also reserved some rooms at a university-owned residence, which may be available to accommodate prospective participants.
