Description

In this talk, I will describe several recent results that use low-rank approximation and machine learning together. There are two stories that I will discuss:

1. Using low-rank approximation to speedup machine learning applications (hybrid models)
2. Using machine learning algorithms to compute certain classes of low-rank decomposition algorithms (including a AlphaEvolve and AlphaTensor papers that use different variants of RL and ML for compute tensor decompositions for difficult tensors).
