How to reach Pisa
By Air: Pisa International Airport, also known as Galileo Galilei Airport (PSA), is the main gateway to the city. Situated just a few kilometres from the city centre, the airport offers both domestic and international flights. Upon arrival, you can easily reach the city centre by taxi, airport shuttle, or train.
By Train: Pisa is well-connected to major Italian cities like Florence, Rome, Milan, and Venice by train. The Pisa Centrale railway station is conveniently located in the city centre.
By Car: If you prefer travelling by car, Pisa is accessible via Italy's extensive network of highways. The A11 motorway connects Pisa to Florence, while the A12 motorway links the city to Genoa and Livorno. Parking facilities are available in and around the city centre, although it's advisable to check for any restricted traffic zones.
By Bus: Several bus companies operate services to Pisa from various Italian cities and neighbouring countries. The Pisa Bus Station is located near the city centre, offering convenient connections to different parts of the city. Additionally, local buses provide efficient transportation within Pisa, allowing you to explore its attractions with ease.
How to reach the Department of Mathematics
The conference will be held at the Aula Magna of the Department of Mathematics, in Largo Bruno Pontecorvo.
From the Train Station: Exit the train station through the main entrance/exit, which leads you directly onto Piazza della Stazione. Once outside, you'll have several transportation options available. The department can be reached within a 20/25 minute walk

From the Airport: The airport is situated just a few kilometres from the city centre, and approximately 3 kilometres from the Department of Mathematics. You can reach the centre by taxi.. Otherwise, the station can be reached with the Pisa Mover (the single ticket costs €6.50 and the return ticket can be purchased in a single option for €13.00)
