The workshop will take place in the city center of Pisa. The exact location will be announced at a later time.

Traveling Information

Pisa is well connected by rail from all the major cities in Italy. The main railway station is Pisa Centrale. The high-speed trains, Frecciarossa (operated by Trenitalia), connect Rome with Pisa and Milan with Pisa in around three hours.

Pisa is provided with its own airport, which has several connections with other Italian cities and within Europe. For a list of the departures, please visit here. Pisa airport is connected with Pisa Centrale railway station through the shuttle service Pisamover. Alternatively, the taxi service CO.TA.PI. is active 24/7.

The second closest airport is located in Florence. Please, visit here for a list of the departures. Florence airport is connected with Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station through the tram T2; please, visit this website for timetables and fares. A taxi service is also available. A good option to reach Pisa from Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station is to take a train operated by Trenitalia to Pisa Centrale.

In case your destination is not connected with the previous airports, you may consider flying to Rome or Milan, and take a fast train to Pisa Centrale.
