Conference Organization
GIMC (Gruppo Italiano di Meccanica Computazionale) and SIMAI (Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata e Industriale) are delighted to announce the third edition of their joint workshop for young scientists (aged ≤ 35), set to take place in Pisa on June 3-5, 2026.
The scope of the Workshop
This event aims to provide participants with a platform to exchange their most recent results, stay current on new trends, and foster meaningful interactions. The program includes plenary lectures by leading scientists, a dedicated session for recipients of the GIMC-SIMAI young awards, parallel thematic sessions organized by participants, as well as a poster session. Contributions from all areas of applied mathematics and computational mechanics are warmly welcomed, in the form of an oral presentation or a poster to be showcased during a dedicated poster session.
